Community food security fellow

We are now accepting applications for our inaugural Community Food Security Fellowship, a full-time, two-year position for a recent graduate from any school in the Triangle area (undergraduate, graduate, or professional), Class of 2021 or later. This person will support our food security efforts by building and maintaining relationships with our community partners, delivering produce, and engaging with stakeholders to listen and understand our community's needs and assets.

Student Field Crew

Every year we look for people passionate about food and farm systems to join our Student Farm Crew!

Undergraduate, graduate and professional school students at Duke from any disciplinary background are warmly welcomed to apply. These are paid positions, 8-10 hours/week during the academic year and 20-25 hours/week during the summer.

Student Programming Crew

We’re looking for 1-2 people excited to be part of the Duke Campus Farm team, help to tell our story, and let others know about the work that we do. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in communications, campus engagement, project management, and facilitation. Students will work closely with the Assistant Director and the Sloss Fellow to help with events such as Alternative Spring Break, Fall Break, Contra Dance, Winter Fest, Holiday Market, and other new programs that arise.

These are paid positions, 6-9 hours/week open to undergraduate students at Duke, that run from the beginning of September through the end of April.

2024-2025 Student Programming Crew applications will open on July 15.

SLOSS Fellow

We're hiring again for our Sloss Fellowship, a full-time, two-year position for a recent graduate from any school in the Triangle area (undergraduate, graduate, or professional), Class of 2021 or later. We're looking for a self-motivated people-person who is curious about careers in sustainable food systems and ready to help us ideate and execute public-facing programming.
